FAQ: How to use vroute-generated plans in Wilco 737
The following tutorial prepared by Serge Villez-Mognier from Cyberavia and kindly made available to us. It shows how to use flight plans generated from vroute in Wilco 737 aircraft.
Use vroute's export feature to create file in Wilco 737 format. In this example for the flight LFPGLFML:
Save "LFPGLFML.U10" .fpl into "Microsoft Flight Simulator X\feelThere\CustomDB"
Now it is finished for VRoute and begines the job in Wilco 737-300. Startup and run IRS
As long as you have this picture you cannot see your flightplan (on this picture you have to wait still 2': in real life 30' during which you must not move the plane). But you can begin to enter you flightplan even if you don't see it yet
2 Enter the flightplan in the FMC - click on POS
If you are in LFPG Enter LFPG in L2 POS. Your position appears on the screen Copy your position R2 and paste it in R4. If you dont do this you'll never enter your flightplan because the FMC does't know where he is
and sudenly you see you glasscockpit lighted and your IRS shows your heading
Hit R6 Route or hit Rte
Type LFPGLFML and copy it in R2 CO ROUTE
You don't need to hit save as your plan is already saved. Use this only when you enter your plan manualy Then click on ACTIVATE then EXEC and your FMC is set
You now enter your departure runway, call the ATC ans ask for a coffee for me
